TPE live recordings

Postby esmark on Wed Oct 24, 2007 10:17 am

Seen some, and leeched some, TPE live recordings on dime over the last couple of years, and trade a couple, but still missing loads...

Working on the bootlegs section at this page these days, trying to get it up to date, including the lot.

Has anybody got any TPE live recordings stacked away that's not listed on the "bootleg" page? Anybody willing to rip/convert and upload or trade?

Please?????!!!!!

Well, got something on tape thay may be of interest - the boys at Reading Festival, 1989. Sound isn't bad for a bootleg. Got no way of getting these lot into MP3 format mind, but open to any offers. Come to think of it, not even sure I have a cassette deck that still works.

The 2nd time I'd seen the Petrols. It was pissing down with rain that day & they went on on the first afternoon if memory serves me right. John Peel was DJing between bands & Steve came bounding on stage sporting an Inspiral carpets "Cool As F**k" t-shirt (before every bugger had one). Top, top performance, and the first time I'd heard any of the stuff that went onto Chemicrazy. Was still on a high the next day and there it was on one of the bootleg stalls ... "Come to daddy" thought I.

Set list:
1) Fleshprint
2) Big Decision
3) Gnawmark
4) Headstaggered
5) Creeping to the Crosss
6) Hey Venus
7) Tingle
8) Hey Bulldog
9) Scumsurfin'
10) Fat Mouth Creed
11) Swamp
12) Blue to Black
13) Abandon
14) Under the Sky

Cheers

Nice one roy, I've got that one as well, but my copy only has the first 8 tracks, ending with the beatles cover "Hey bulldog".... sure you ain't got the possibility to copy that cassette... I can convert it to wav/mp3.... and I'm sure I've got something in return for you. If you're interested, send me an e-mail or a pm.
